AT A GLANCE
'Bicchu' a Bengali language-based virtual community was established in 24th November, 2017 with an aim to studying Bangladeshi animals as well as their necessity of conservation. Out of these, we also advocate for people's science movement as well as a free world where everyone will know everything easily and will think in open mind going beyond the so-called social and religious superstitions and barriers. For this reason, we have lots of volunteers devoted solely for the betterment of our community as well as to make general peoples enlightened by providing authentic knowledge on animal science.

DESCRIPTION
"Bicchu" website was launched on November 24, 2017, to raise awareness for animal conservation. Later on October 2019 organizational activities started at Chittagong University under the name "Bicchu Team". We have been going to various educational institutions in the past to create awareness about animals and this activity is ongoing. By showing our own documentaries, in short, we have highlighted the importance of the conservation of animals and their consequences and remnants lost from Bangladesh. We sincerely believe that if we can inculcate love for animals in the minds of students, then the unwanted killing of animals will be reduced to a large extent and we will be able to create a new animal-conscious generation. A clear understanding of what content is required to be loved. Knowing about venomous and venomous animals can help you understand how to deal with them or how to stay close to them without causing problems. For this purpose, we launch a website. The website serves as an open knowledge centre in addition to fascinating information about animals. Besides, our small effort to facilitate Zoology students or animal enthusiasts is Bichha Library. We are trying to create a huge collection of all books and research papers on animals and for that purpose, we have started our Bicchu library. Members can collect and read soft copies or hard copies of any book, note, or journal related to animals subject to conditions from our website. "Bicchu Team" is always committed to raising social awareness about animals. We dream of a new habitable world and this dream has been accompanied by numerous knowledge enthusiasts.
