On the occasion of Channel I Prokriti Mela 2020, an environmental rally was held in Chittagong under the slogan "Sundar Prakrutite Gori Sundar Jiban".
Under the chairmanship of the President of Nature and Life Club, Chittagong Dr. Md. Manzooul Kibria, in the joint presentation of Enam and youth leader Zahedur Rahman Sohel, Chittagong District Commissioner Md. Elias Hossain was present as the chief guest. Chief of Bureau of Channel I Chittagong and General Secretary of Chittagong Press Club Md. Chowdhury Farid spoke as moderator.
In the speech, the harmful effects of plastic products, fear of shortage of clean water, air pollution of Dhaka and Chittagong and the death of huge animals in the ongoing fires in Australia came up.
In addition to mentioning the importance of animal conservation, Abdullah Al Asek, the founder of Bicchu, expressed his hope to be with the 'Nature and Life club' in any activities to protect the environment and animals.
